As a lifelong reader, I have struggled this year as I have found myself more and more drawn to audio-books. In my current lifestyle, I drive about an hour each day, and that combined with a stressful job means that I often just don’t have the energy to dedicate to reading an actual book. Running and Podcasts
I hate running. I love being outside, I love getting moving, but the idea of getting out for a run just for the sake of it is a tough sell for me. However, with a semi-desk job that usually entails 9 – 10 hour days, sometimes running is the only way for me to stay active and feel like I am taking care of myself. For someone who actively dislikes scary movies of all kinds, I am weirdly fascinated by true crime shows and podcasts. With the recent announcement that the case of the Golden State Killer (also knows as the East Area Rapist and the Original Night Stalker), I went back into my podcast archives and found some great podcasts for anyone who is interested in this absolutely horrifying case.
