Announcing: The Miss Marple Reread
Hello everyone, For the last couple of years, I have started every year by treating myself to a special edition of something and rereading a classic. Two years ago, I reread all of the Anne of Green Gables series (you can read my final thoughts on that HERE), and last year, I reread all of Jane Austen’s books from a really beautiful boxed set. This year, I am reading Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple books! Weekend Joys, Books and More: December 18th

As one of our kiddos said yesterday when discussing what month it is, it is certainly “Christmas Month” in our house. Enjoy the links below and have a great weekend! 1.) Enjoy Stacey Mei Yan Fong’s weird and wonderful 50 Pies / 50 States project! 2.) This is by far the best The Christmas Carol adaptation out there. Guillermo del Toro agrees with me so I must be right. 3.) This website is super fascinating and fun to explore! I’ve been watching a lot of period TV, and this gives me major shelf…

November: Old Favorites, Graphic Novels and American Voices
Hello Everyone, November was a big month for me in terms of my 2020 reading. It started with a lot of escapist reading as we waited with bated breath for the results of the election, and ended with a lot of escapist reading when I got hit by Covid-19 and spent about a week in bed. I also started leading a graphic novel book club, and had a great time doing “research” for it! Today I have three pairs of books for you that fall into some fun categories. These books cover YA to adult, brand new to old classics, and I hope there is something for everyone for you!…
